Play Beat Saber maps in your browser

By John Hany · Updated 2026-10-28

Yes, you can play Beat Saber custom maps without a VR headset. Remix Tiles loads maps from BeatSaver, the community library of Beat Saber custom songs, and turns every note into a tile on four lanes. You tap the tiles on the beat in any web browser, on a phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to install and no account.

How a Beat Saber map becomes tiles

A Beat Saber map places red and blue notes on a 4×3 grid for your left and right saber, with a cut direction for each. Remix Tiles keeps the timing of every note and chooses a lane for it:

Which maps work

Remix Tiles plays standard BeatSaver maps (map formats v2, v3 and v4) in every difficulty from Easy to Expert+, including maps with BPM changes. Maps made for gameplay mods such as Noodle Extensions, Mapping Extensions, Vivify or Cinema are left out, because they depend on effects a four-lane game can't show.

How to find a map

  1. Open Remix Tiles and browse Featured (BeatSaver's curated maps), Top Rated, New or Discover, or search by song, artist or mapper.
  2. Pick a song and a difficulty, then press Play. The map downloads from BeatSaver and turns into tiles in a few seconds.
  3. Have a map's BeatSaver ID? Open remixtiles.com/?song= followed by the ID, for example remixtiles.com/?song=7e6b.
